drill front of oil pan?? oil return from turbo..

Default drill front of oil pan?? oil return from turbo..

can i drill the very front of the oil pan to return my oil from turbo.s it would be on the pass side very front.. are there clearence issuses.. rotating parts.. motor is 99 lq4. 6.0

You can drill and tap there. If you do it on the truck, load up the drill bit and the tap with grease tp trap as much of the debris as you can.

I put in a Moroso pan and put in weld-in 12 AN bungs. Easy conversion.

mine is in the front on the drivers side, i just filled the motor with like 20 Quarts of oil then drilled so the oil coming out pushed all the shaving out with it

thanks for all ur nfo really apprecaite it.. i probly drill it tomorow before work.. im going to use some grease and a vacume cleaner.. should be fine..

i cant lie its nice to be a foremen at a dealer, ive built all my projects there, just threw a drainer under the truck, used a angle drill and a uni-bit and turn my head, pulled the trigger and presto, a hole and a slight mess, but hea, no shavings in the pan, lol...

I did mine on the drivers side...not as bad as it seems when you are talking about drilling your oil pan.
