looking for a decent 3.5" muffler option for a turbo'd application, dont want it to be extremely loud but a nice tone would be nice.

also does anyone know how makes a tailpipe kit in 3.5" that will fit on a 2005

 

I heard flowmaster makes a 3.5 tailpipe but I never called them to verify.

 

magnaflow lists one but its 4"

 

I like my flow pro big oval muffler. It's decently quiet but is a 3.5 inch through out so flows good.

No turbo here but my 3.5" large case magnaflow does a great job , and made over 600 to the tires thru it .

 

Search Craigslist and call around to different muffler shops and see if they have any stock duramax exhaust systems that they took off. A shop sold me one for about $100 installed. You might have to cut/weld on yours some more if you're wanting exhaust tips though. I'm running a round straight through magnaflow now. It's probably 24" long and fairly quite.

 

That big *** magnaflow is the route I'd take too.

 

I have the biggest 3.5 magnaflow oval case they make with mine. With a 3.5 tailpipe. Deathly quiet while cruising and sounds nasty at wot. Mine is perfect for my tastes.

 

Round case 3.5'' Magnaflow here and I love it.Very docile till the turbo spools up.
