My air/water intercooler slid right in between the electric fans and the engine so that part was actually very easy, these are the best pics i could find that show it.

I guess I should have stated a horsepower range I was shooting for... I thought that stating the ammount of boost I want to run as well as using a stock bottom end, that most people would know it's not going to be anything to crazy. I am looking for around 450-500whp. I want to have good driveability out of it and have some reliability from it still.

Now as far as drivetrain modifications and fuel system goes... I know I will need transmission modifications... not a problem. I'm planning on upgrading the differential to a detroit trutrac and will probably stick with the stock 3.42 gears. I think I have most of the fuel system planned out but I could still use some help. I have a source at Delphi who can get me a Ford GT fuel pump for cheap and it supports over 550whp on my friends turbo impala... so I think I will be alright as far as a fuel pump goes. I was thinking of trying to use the 8.1L marine injectors... but are they enough?

I know going with a single turbo is easier and cheaper... I just thought that two smaller turbos might be more efficient at lower boost levels then one big one.

Lets hear some more suggestions.

Alright coming from someone working on my own big power turbo kit right now i will tell you a few tidbits i have learned

1. Whatever you think you are going to spend, triple it and then your close
2. Your fuel system is not NEARLY as easy as it sounds, if you have a return or returnless fuel system, plan on a dual intank pump setup with a hobbs switch, one pump wont keep up effectively.
3. The little **** will kill you i.e. (Oil fittings, Piping, Clamps, Couplers, Gauges, Seals and Gaskets etc.)
4. Your gonna need a 4l80e, don't try to make a 60e live behind 500hp you will regret it

That is some basic stuff, the faster you want to go the faster your wallet empties. You gotta pay to play and if you think you are gonna get away with a 500+hp maintinence free system you have a suprise coming.
