Yes my buddy and I are doing it! And so say I go with a 3200 or 3600 its still gonna be driveable around town and driving it to tracks and show?? Bc im not building this truck to trailer it any where if I wanna take it some where im gonna drive it thanks alot guys I think im gonna b investing in one

It's all drivable it's just to what level one sees fit for a daily driver versus a weekend cruiser track toy etc...
Some people daily drive a 4000 stall, it's all personal preference. You said it's going to be a weekend cruiser/track toy so I would go a little more aggressive on both the cam and stall and have fun with it. You are not looking to get the best MPG out of it you are looking to have the most fun with it. Get a 3400-3600 stall and let her eat!

It's all drivable it's just to what level one sees fit for a daily driver versus a weekend cruiser track toy etc...

Id suggest the yank ss3600.

something like a 222/234 on a 114 or 115 +3. That would pull pretty hard all the way to 6500 RPM and feel real strong with a 3600 converter. With 0* overlap or -2* overlap it would sound real healthy at idle too...

Ill def look into them thanks and yes if you guys could help with a cam that would be great I def want a very good sounding idle and not sure on the rpms you guys think 6500 is safe its been so long since I drove my truck I forget what it shifts at now mayb 5800??

so i prob sound like a dumb **** for saying this but i dont care im tring to learn what im gonna be doing so what the main differnce between my stock converter and 3600 converter or if you dont want to explain maybe point me in the direction of a good web site so i can read about them thanks alot guys

Yea it will be about 5800 if you have a tune, 5600 if you are stock.
6500 isn't that bad. I can understand wanting to move it up or down. Plenty spin them higher with no problems, but you'll be hard pressed to convince me it doesnt take a toll on the bottom end.

hey guys just bought a yank 3600 converter and now im looking for my cam im gonna do a lil research but is this 222/234 on a 114 or 115 +3 is that what i want i have no clue i want ya to know its got a cam in it just by listen to it idle.
so im new to the what do these numbers mean please inlightiing me
