Default punching out a LQ4 to 427 ?

I'm wondering how big of a bore the LQ4 is capable of holding ? right now it's stock (4'' bore) and wanting to bring the bore to 4.125 ! The reason is pretty simple the engine is going into a 69 camaro and having a ''stock'' C.U.I. of 427 would be pretty cool !

I believe that's it. You can go to Texas Speed or Thompson Motorsports and see what they offer. That should pretty much tell you.

a 6.0 can go 427 but not with a 4.125 bore

you will need the 4.1" crank and a 4.065 bore i do believe

or you can send a aluminum block to ERL and they will resleeve it to a 4.125 bore

There you go. Send it to ERL and go 4.125. That would be the start of something fine.
