Well, now that I've decided to keep the truck, I've been debating building my own turbo setup. Would it be cheaper to do this using the hot parts (manifolds/piping to turbo) from PTK and fabbing the DP and IC piping? Or would I be better off to just go with the kit from Livernois? TIA.

If you have the skills, know how, and equipment, it's definitely cheaper to build your own. You pay a lot of money for those thinks when you buy a kit, plus you have the satisfaction of saying "I built it" when your done!

If you have the ability then I say go for it! I would try to copy a proven system to make it easier. The STS would take the least amount of fab work.
I just bought a CMotorsports front mount T76 kit with the newer header design and everything is like a piece of artwork.
I can take pics of all the parts for you before I install them. But, after looking at how complex just the header is, I would try to do a remote mount. Parish also has a wesite with all of the pics of his original CMS T76 kit. But, Mine is much prettier than his original kit since that was one of the first

Build it yourself if you have access to a chopsaw and a welder. I did it so I'm sure you can too. I spent about $2400 building my kit if I remeber right, which is a lot less than an STS or Livernoise kit.
