I ran 10.1:1 with 10-12psi with meth only as the intercooler on stock LQ9 low end parts. I'm not familiar with the precision turbos, but my Garrett GT67 still had plenty at 12psi -- I'm pretty sure you can pull off 15psi no problem.

I built this block for 18psi and targeted 8.6:1 CR with my cam (and meth+intercooler of course).

The rule of thumb on CR should be to run as much as you can and still get your boost in.

With that being said I may just go with the 8.5:1 pistons. As addicting as this is I probalbly won't be satisfied with 15psi either. Even with the cr at 8.5:1 it should feel better( not as lazy as) than my bone stock 5.3 being that there is quiet a jump in displacement, head flow (patriotperformance stg3), and cam.

Old Bull, I went with the 11515's. They are the same dish, but they are made for stock rods. The 11517's use SBC rods.

Are there any advantages to using the 11515's with stock size rod vs 11517's with SBC rods.

The 6.125 rods are more available. Other than that I really don't know.

The wrist pins are bigger on the ls1 rods. But, I don't think I've ever heard of a failed wrist pin.
