Hey Foose, what is the compressed thickness of the LS9 gaskets?

 

Will be next weekend for vids guys. Likely going to be doing a little roll race with a cam/exhaust/tune c6 z06 to how she's running up top now. Then I'm headed to Ohio to visit some family. Any Ohio guys want to meet up at Kil-Kare or Edge Water. Might take advantage of that cold Ohio air at night!

I want to say .052 on the ls9's, someone correct me if I'm off.

Sweet! Gotta love being able to run with a cammed 427ci Corvette in a truck,, esp with only a 4.8L!!

So the LS9 gaskets even though they're 7? (or 5? I cant remember lol) layered, aren't any thicker than the regular MLS when compressed? I am under the impression that all the regular stock GM MLS gaskets (4.8/5.3/5.7/6.0) have a compressed thickness of .051 as well.
