The GT2-3 (207/220 571/.578 118.5) is the most popular cam around here for the maggie. I went with a GT-7 ( 208/230 .554/.546 121) and 1.8 rockers to get my valve lift up to ~.600". I still need to install it, so I have no performance reports yet. If you are using stock rockers, I would pick the GT2-3.

The 112 lobe separation will increase the overlap and bleed boost and lessen dynamic compression. If you are having detonation problems that might be an interesting choice. The 118.5 lsa on the GT2-3 will keep the dynamic compression higher. What is the ls2 compression ratio?

The gt2-3 has proven itself with the radix, but cant think of a LS2 running one. Both you guys are going to show up next month, right?

I have shorty headers but from there back is pretty much free flowing. I am very happy where the LPEGT2-3 makes its power in my 5.3L.

heres the specs for the GT7
208/230 .554/.546 121CL

And this is what they say
Suggested for supercharged or turbo charged applications. LPE has developed several new camshaft profiles for the LS1& LS6 engine to improve horsepower and torque without sacrificing the LS1’s driveability.

then the gt2-5 specs
222/222 .566/.566 w 1.7 rocker 112 CL

Now what rockers do the ls2s have stock?? and also for a blower wouldnt a higher lobe separation be better??
