That's what the stall is for...Ive got a cam similar to that that makes stupid amounts of low end torque in a 6.0 and a parasitic tvs1900... Just saying. It will also work good with a rear mount at high rpms also

Get a Yank tt3000 stall and one of Jarrett's 212/212/112 cams and you will love it. The headers will be fine if you change the stall and cam. I ran a MP70 with my STS kit and it spooled quick with that stall.

I dont deal with a lot of Turbo set ups, but I would tend to agree with this. How do headers hurt a rear mount system?

The guy that i bought the turbo from told me to absolutely not put headers on with and sts turbo. He had a set of jba's and actually lost time on his 1/4 mile he put his stockers back on and had better results. headers cool down the exhaust flow more then the manifolds which in return on a rear mount setup kills spool time. wrapping the headers would probably bring the spool time back up.

Headers don't hurt power but you are right that they will hurt spool time. I had a rear mount setup with headers a long time ago and they do work fine. That being said, If you have your stock manifolds you could put them back on and get some cash out of the headers. Either way you need to wrap the exhaust all the way back to help with spool time.

I totally agree with wrapping the exhaust all the way to the back at the turbo. works well.

A stock LS with TVS is going to have low-end. You've got low-end torque because of the TVS, not because of that cam. Could be a good nitrous cam, but not for the STS. The effective range would be higher than he would need to shift.
