Default Cam help!!! For sts turbo kit

We recently just installed our new sts inter-cooled kit on the 5.3L silverado

The truck is a dog till around 2500rpms

It has a new transmission with a 2000 stall and all stock internals on 5psi

Is there a cam that would make this thing a tq monster between 1000-2500 rpms?

Whats better for the 5.3L rear mount set up
A single pattern cam or a larger intake duration than exhaust?

Is a 114 lobe fine or does it need to be 115-116 lobe?

The truck is a weekend toy not an all out wanna be dragster in regard to the cam choice.

GT67 turbo

50mm blow off valve

Long tube headers, x pipe, 3" true duals, dual 3" collector with 2.5" single exit connecting to the turbo exhaust tubing

WILL GET A DYNO TUNE FOR THE CAM!!!

Get a bigger stall. That turbo should spool almost instantly

should of got a smaller turbo and stuck it up front. sts lags, and a 67 on 5psi is way too big. a 60mm will make 12-14psi on astock 5.3

Your losing power with the long tube header's u need to use stock manifolds for the sts kit. I have the same setup 5.3 gt67 on 6lbs and mine spools up quick with hardly any lag. But i'm using the stock manifolds cats and y pipe. Idk if your exhaust setup might have anything to do with it.

get the boost up around 10psi and run something like the isky 212 or 215 cam..
should have gone with a 3000 stall, the STS on a stock converter sucks bad..
i ran a yank tt3000 and it was perfect but i had a 60mm.

i ran the isky 215/215 .566/.566 114 and it was nice.

also working the tune in the lower rpms high load makes a big difference.

Considering the fact that he is looking for low end Tq that cam would not be a good choice for a 5.3L
