Boost my 14 GMC

Thanks, It's not a screamer as it sits but zipping through traffic is a breeze even loaded. I am totally loving the increased power with reliability. Just like stock but feels like ~ 500 cu in but with good gas mileage. Should of came like this!

Update: 3 months of enjoying this thing now and no issues except I don't want to park it. I'm convinced Whipple was the right decision. And yeah for a DD I like it way more than turbo although its not as fast but it is... right now in your face power. Traded ultimate speed for a big fun factor.

I want to start planning to up the ante a bit. I am not ready to do the 6.2 till probably after next summer but I thought I could get some decent gains by other methods. I am for the moment not doing headers. I believe for sure a pulley change since I need a tune anyway. Still on the Whipple tune. Its not a race truck and never will be and need 100% reliability. Any given day it weighs 5900-6000 lbs loaded and I am staying with the stock 6l80 trans and converter and its my DD. I don't beat on it but I still kill some late model 5.0's and such occasionally.
My questions for the FI gurus on here: I am considering ZO6 injectors if they are the most economical choice for whatever the trans will handle loaded probably 625? but just bump to maybe 550 for now? Not buying injectors twice though. Stay with the stock pump or Meth on a DD? Is there a way to kill the engine if the meth fails?........OR do a 100-150 shot. Probably would just need a pump then and no injectors. Maybe a combination of the 2. Don't really want to spend more than 2k for sure even less. Meth or NO2 would give me lower IATs for the track wouldn't they? Would like to run 90+ 1/8th mph so loaded so I can handle these new 2017 Camaro SS in 4wd for more than 2 blocks lol. Open for discussion gentlemen!

Depending on how aggressive the tune is with meth and how much boost you are running yes you could kill it if the meth kit fails.
Seems Z06 fuel system and meth is the best way to increase capability at this point. If youre doing nitrous you would need a larger in tank pump and you could tap into the fuel system before it hits your HPDI pump.

I guess I didn't make it clear what I meant to say is, is there a fail safe way to kill the ignition in the event that meth fails like the meth pump or nozzles or something? Just too many dead engines because of meth failure and these DI engines are still high dollar. Not like I can go get another longblock for 1k lol. Also do you think the Z injectors would be enough or would I have to do the pump too? No2 would be kinda nice since I mostly drive it like the grandpa that I am...until I see a 5.0. Thanks!
