The problem with the nitrous is that it'll take you a bit to turn it on too. Won't be a "I just spotted a mustang" moment.

Thank you I enjoyed sharing it. More upgrades in time but I'll be honest if I never did another thing I got everything I could have hoped far with the kit. More importantly NO ISSUES whatsoever, just bolt on and go!
The 6.2 is a 4.0 wagon wheel

Like you Zed,Im learning fueling runs out quick and it takes bux to increase it.Read that one guy only swapped his cam with modded pump lobe and puts down 640hp and did nothing else for fueling.Going off memory which aint what it was.But thats what I recall

He did LT4 injectors with LT4 high pressure pump with a custom camshaft. He ran out of fuel pump at 640 whp on E85 per his tuner. It's the guy with the white single cab truck, allen or something.

Thanks gentlemen. Last night I had a thought, LT4 injectors, pulley and custom E85 tune. Would I need LT4 pump too? Reliability of meth system scares me for a DD, E85 would be safe. In keeping with my $2k limit I don't want to do a cam or headers. Just save that for the 6.2. Thoughts?

I was thinking of dirt daddy,he very well may have all the stuff,no wait he has a denali or SLT crew

Im sure I seen some where a guy did cam only for fuel increase and was able to take his quite aways for hp....either that or i dreamed it up

Default glad I found is thread

Hi

my son has a `15 ltz, 2.9L whipple in the boxes, dsx harness and a k&n filter

the kit came as a 6.2 kit, so pulley is 4.0¨ fwiw. might keep the pulley!!

The harness allows hp tuners or other software to tune maf and ve as opposed to running only maf tune (gyi)

any thoughts on best bang for the buck headers for this?

tia....nice job OP....not meaning to hijack

I would first start with just the pump from the bigger motor. Then do injectors.

I see that Texas Speed has some 1 7/8" for a great price but no ORY for the 6.2.

Thanks, I guess I should start checking prices. Just hoping I can get by without doing a cam and headers. My reasoning is cam, headers, pump, injectors, pulley and tune is probably close to as much as a low mileage 6.2. Then I could sell my 5.3 and not be out much money. Not looking for much more than 550 anyway. Wondering if that's doable with limited mods.
