Yo Corey

What do you know?
from what little i have read you can fuel these with just a cam change, then do injectors next

you are the first to say do pump first. So I humbly ask what do you know? how do you know what to do to these fuel these DI trucks, and in what order and maybe its different for 5.3 than the 6.2
Thank you

the pump is smaller on the non-6.2s.... A bigger pump would be easier than a cam change, IMO.... then do injectors once you start pushing it... From what i have seen the Vettes are getting like 800-900 with stock pump + CAM change...

I saw the pump and called whipple. they told me that the latest kits included it

easy to tell cause the older pump does not have the light colored cooling fins.

not saying you need it, but air/water ic's tend to heat soak anyhow

have fun

Don't forget the meth running with those too.

That's pretty sweet they include the better pump with the kit for the same price. That's the pump that came in my kit.

I think we can help if you want a blower. If you decide to go ahead with one PM us, I can at least make you an offer. The main reason several people at the forum go with LC32 is because we always walk you through an install...
We are authorized with Magnuson...

Finally looked at my reservoir pump and its not the new one...bummer.
Corey I thought the HPFP was the same on the 6.2 and 5.3 just not same as the LT4. Also gotta remove the blower and manifold I guess to replace it? Think Id rather kill myself!!! LT4 injectors would be an easy upgrade though along with a pulley I'm leaning towards that route, unless I'm just not thinking straight from the damn heat! Thoughts?

Man its freaking great to see some 2.9's on here now!
