Default Boost level

Ok I am planning a fi set Up for my 03 5.3 (not a race truck).... I need to know what is a safe boost level to run on a bone stock 5.3 no mods but supporting fuel system mods.... I was thinking like maybe 8psi or maybe less.... Don't want to kill my truck

That is a good assumption. 6-8psi and you should be fine. Your transmission most likely will not be fine but that is another story.

Its Mods by the way.

8psi is fine. As long as your tuning is ok.
