2.3l tvs maggie (3.6" pulley) went in to my 2000 5.3 silverado along with a 214/226 .55x/.55x cam. pulled an all nighter to finish before fun started on the 4th. at around 3000 rpm at much over 60% throttle it starts to choke and cough and sputter. just took it for a quick 5 minute drive to see where the tune sat (tuning myself). ltft's are pegged at +25 at idle and light throttle. checked all the vacuum lines, no leaks. pluggs are gapped to .35. i knew it wouldn't run great till i got the tune down better, but this is frigging ridiculous. at this point i'm guessing its either i'm blowing the spark out or a major fueling issue. am i on the right track here? i'm going to get my wideband working today, reads a steady 7.6 at all times. after that i'm out of ideas. any help would be much appreciated.

sprayed starting fluid all over the base of the manifold, except the back, can't get back there. idle never changed. i decided to rev it to for *****, it revved at WOT to 5k no problem. i don't know what the hell its doing. boost gauge and fuel pressure gauge will be going on here in a bit.

I am assuming no wideband either? Can you post your tune? Off the top you will need to change your commanded afr's and the percentage PE in enabled. I would back down the timing for now, take low octane table, take a few degrees out and paste that entire table into your high octane table.

boost gauge only reads vacuum, adapter for the fuel pressure sensor doesn't fit, no one in town has one. the heavy throttle cut out is back, i'm tired of screwing with it. i'm going to go play with tannertie, i'll post the tune up tonight.
