I had a Gates for about a year and it started squealing loudly. I replaced it yesterday with a Gatorback and will see how that goes.

Either way, a belt lasting a year on a supercharged truck is pretty good IMO.

i had both. Is it just me, I don't care. Maybe because my truck is loud I don't notice anything. I only care about slip when I am trying to squeeze every ounce of boost out of my radix. Hell, I'd put a NAPA's brand on there if it wasn't twice the price and didn't slip. But for the record, I almost always end up with a gatorback. I just broke one recently when a pulley bearing went out and the pulley came off. I ordered another gatorback. I just like the name. Sounds cooler than Gates. LOL All about marketing eh?

I've had a gatorback on for about 3 years now. Starting to show some small frays but otherwise has worked well.
