Default Belt chirp/squeaking, light throttle

05 Suburban, L59 w/ E-force for about 50k miles.

Passed a couple cars and a semi on back roads to my parents house, WOT from 45 to 90, noticed later and chirp/squeaking at light throttle while moving. Coming from the engine area. Really couldn't hear it when at a stop sign.

Goes away with more gas and increasing load on engine. No lights, no loss of power, other noises.

Could it be tensioner or pulley that's going out, or maybe the 10k mile replacement water pump?

Still looking for some insight, have swapped the idlers, replaced one, and the tensioner.

It seems to be matching rpm fluctuations, but goes away at about 1800-2000 rpms up. Also the noise goes away with load, basically coming out of vacuum, from 0 to 7 psi range.

My fear is it's the blower snout, as that's where it seems like the noises are coming from.

I can swap the alternator to troubleshoot, but if that isn't it it leaves the water pump and blower.

Change the belt yet? I went through the exact same deal and it was the belt.

Something could have become misaligned. I had a squeak until I got a laser aligner

Crank pinned? If the crank pulley is spinning ever so slightly this could cause the squeak.

Crank is pinned, I have a new belt on order, swapped my used gatorback spare on there and sound remains.

I know it's probably the belt or the idler I didn't have a puller to get off, but it's instant fear something is catastrophic when you're on a trip and without tools.

My dad has limited tools, but he did let me borrow a stethoscope. Which I left under the hood for the 3 hour trip back last night... Oops

Thanks for the ideas, might just stick a GoPro in there.

Finally got a belt on and was swapping idlers, and I let it roll off the front onto the driveway.

Got that gates idler on it till the correct one gets here. Supercharger online hooked me up with a couple of correct replacements.

No more squeaking and silence is the only way to go.
