It's possible you had a random misfire. Have you tried reseting the PCM yet to see if it will clear? I had one, and after the truck sat overnight, it cleared on it's own. It's hard to tell, because the SES light can mean so many things. Try reseting first and if that doesn't help, find someone with A-tap and have them run a check.

Default I need Help, IDIOT LIGHT wont go off

I have a 5.3 with a magnacharger sc, i blew the belt this morning @ WOT. Needless to say, the truck hitched a ride on a flat bed. I replaced the belt, and the service engine soon light is on, I pulled right off the road when the belt blew, and didnt drive it more than 150ft. What might be the prob, any sugg.? Its sunday so magnachrger isnt open. if it helps, the service engine soon light is on, but its not flashing.
