My manifolds only lasted about 4 weeks. I just made them out of 18ga. material but they started cracking and warped up really bad.

I don't know if you two are too far along, but this is an interesting alternative to fabing your own from scratch.

wheel to wheel's truck turbo setup just flipped the stock header on the passanger side and bolted the turbo to that, they made some mad power with it

i tried sticking the stock manifolds on the truck in diferent ways and didn't see any way to make it work. that gto manifold might have worked but i doubt it. any fliping of the manifolds would then require running the plug wires from the bottom so you have to add that work into it if you are considering that route.

Guy's that's not a truck manifold or a GTO manifold. Its the 5.3 manifold off of a front wheel drive GP, and as far as anyone knows it's never been done. The angle is totally different than a truck and car manifold. I think this is the same manifold that's on the Impala SS too.

got the 2nd header done.

i looked for a place to put the waste gates up top where you can see them but it will just be easier to put them down low. i have room to put one right off the end of one header and the other hanging off the bottom of the header. the down pipes look prety easy but i dont have a tranny right now so i dont know how much i want to do.

i got a few more parts on the way. i got 2 of the intercoolers that were on my last kit on the way and 2 of the bov's too. also 2 of the hard rubber elbows that were on my last kit. things are coming together slowly. total spent so far, $4700 i am prety sure this project will break $6k. i did get most of my money back from selling the pt88 kit so that helps.
