Anyone run into belt/tensioner issues with a 2 step?

Should be near peak torque already by 2600 with the blowers. It was launching pretty hard with some spinning with my other converter at 2600 or so. Lost the trans on the last pass here: Launches

Not with a maggie he isnt. With a procharger yes.

Somewhere in between those would be ideal. I'd bet peak TQ is just a hair after 3k and it holds than number until 4500-5k before it falls off.

I see.

Based on my fueling table, mine doesn't peak torque till somewhere around 7250 rpm.

I got both another Dayco tensioner and the Ford version. Looks like the the Motocraft has more beef to the stop area. Busted Dayco is on the left. New Dayco in the middle.
