Default Alky Control pump leak?

Anybody have their pump leak? Haven't been driving my truck much last few weeks and have noticed that I was going through more methanol than I normally do. Actually remembered filling it up this time and not driving it. Got in it tonight and the low light was on. Filled it back up and noticed a puddle under the pump. Leaking just sitting static.

Anyway crawled under the truck and had a look. Couple drips every 10 seconds or so. Went around the pump and snugged the screws to the main housing and the screws that hold the pressure switch on. Slowed it down but still an occasional drip.

Guess I'll give Alky Control a call. Hope can just come up with a gasket kit or something.

Pic little lines showing like 2 places its leaking. Might even be the housing cracked at the inlet fitting. Don't know.

I've went threw like four pumps. I learnd a lesson, DO NOT USE A CONTAINER THAT ONCE HAD GAS IN IT!! Gas will shrink the diaphram and it will leak.....

I thought that meth was way more corrosive and harmful to rubber parts then gas???

The sad part is if your leak is very slow you will never know because it will evap b4 you ever see anything under your truck.

Well that's not good. I have 20 gallons of meth in the garage in recently used gas cans.

As an update. I have spoken with the kit maker and he did offer to look at the pump. Of course having to take it off, package it up and sending it to him. I didn't want to have the truck down that long.

I pulled the pump off this morning and had a closer look. Did have two leaks. The inlet fitting was leaking. A bit loose. Just pulled it out and re-taped it. That drip fixed.

The other leak under the pressure switch. I pulled the switch off wiped everything down and put it back together. The seal for it is what i call a membrane gasket. It wasn't torn or anything so I just put it back together. I didn't leak just sitting there but after running there was a big puddle under it so under pressure it was leaking pretty badly.

Tore it back down and added a bit of Loctite 510 to the pump side of the membrane along the sealing surfaces. Snugged the switch back up. Let it sit for couple hours and put the pump back in. Sealed it up, no leaks now. I'll keep an eye on it for a while.
