Aeromotive 340 Pump and e85
#1
Hi guys, trying to get my fuel set up situated for the new turbo set up. Will a single in-tank Aeromotive 340 Pump support enough fuel for 450rwhp or maybe up to 500 running e85 ?
The plan is to run around 5-6 psi non ic on my stock LQ9 with just a 212/218 high lift cam. The truck is an 03 with a return system. This will be my first venture with force induction and would like to use e85 for its forgiveness if something is off.
Thanks!

From their FAQ's
WARNING: If you plan to run E85 fuel you must be prepared to install proper filtration, and maintain it as frequently as every 10 run-hours. If not, Aeromotive does NOT recommend you the use of E85 with the 340 Stealth Fuel Pump. Aeromotive’s new product warranty assures the purchaser their 340 Stealth Pump will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Fuel pump failure caused by clogged/blocked fuel filters is not the result of any defect in the pump itself, and is not covered under this warranty.

So the 340 Pump will handle e85 but will not handle a clogged fuel filter it sounds like ? Aeromotive is probably thinking when the vehicle is switched over to e85 the ethanol will clean the tank and fuel system then clog filter and kill the pump ?

guess that explains why mine died!
