Well guys moving the trans cooler up front did the trick so far. Normal driving in town not much stop and go. 169 to 180 degrees. Going to log some street runs to test out the new intercooler and test the transbrake out some more.

Those temps are still way too high for my liking.

What trans are you running?

Running a North Texas Converter 4l80 with their new transbrake. The trans cooler is dual pass with a 10in fan. I don't run it threw the rad. I'm going to reinstall the stock external trans cooler piggy back.

I don't like it. Get a trucool 40k. If it's running 180 just putzing around, it's gonna roast on the transbrake. If I had a transbrake I'd also run John Deere hydraulic fluid.

I did some testing yesterday and wow. First the Trick turbo racing 5in intercooler is awesome. BIG GAINS HERE!!! Boost before new cooler was 6lb on a 6lb spring in the gate. Now it builds 10.5lb of boost. AND! Intake air temps dropped. Before in 70ish weather intake air temp on the 6lb of boost would get close to a 100 degrees with the meth. On the the 10.5lb of boost in 90ish degree weather and 101 degree intake went to 72d degrees with the same meth kit. The truck boost faster too. I can't wait for cool weather. The truck is crazy.

I'm working on the suspension too. Adding double adjustable shock in the rear. And working on freeing up the suspension movement.

Yes, finally! Hallelajuh.

Are those Strange DA shocks in stock locations?

Also, are you on Caltracs? I see a flip with the overload out.
