Procharger advertises the D1SC to be good for 925fwhp. It would be hard to not go with an ATI or a Livernois IMO.

I also wondered about Parish's setup. CMotorsports was supposed to be gearing up to market the kit but I never heard anything since ( over a year ago ). With all the work they have into Jim's truck a phone call or email to them would be my starting point.
The Livernois kit is definitely the price leader but you would be on the pioneering side of things. It could make the price jump considerably by the time things are finished.
Last I would see what your local installer is familiar and/or comfortable with. Having the local shop learn a "new" technology on your dime would make me nervous and again could cost more money down the road....

wasnt 2toneblown running a Livernois 76mm turbo on a 408?? I remember it was pretty sick. I dont think you should look at anything other than that. Why would you? It would be easier to upgrade to a bigger turbo if you wanted to, it would make full boost earlier, it would make more torque, and no screaming blowoff valve. You dont have to worry about belt slip, belt shredding and finding the right size belt when you change pulleys. Why are you considering the procharger? How much cheaper is it? Wouldnt you also need the SDCE tensioner setup and god knows what else to deal with belt slippage??? Turbo all the way IMO. If it were me, I would buy a used STS kit and get a 76mm or bigger turbo and mount it up. That would be the cheapest and easiest install..... wait, that is what I did

Livernois with a t-76-88 750 easy on pump gas

My incons have made 736 rwhp on a 346 ci ls1...the incons are flowing a good bit less than a nice 76mm. Nobody will try it but I honestly believe an intercooled STS with a t-76 and a 3200ish stall would rock on a 408

I've got no objection to the sts idea if someone can tell me where to get one and a larger turbo for a good price.

the procharger is significantly cheaper than the livernois kit. like $1200 cheaper. I know NOTHING about the type of turbo they use. anyone care to enlighten me?

They are in the classifieds in here all the time. A guy with an Avalanche was selling one not long ago. I'll see if I can find it.
Heres one https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...&highlight=STS see what he will do.
Here is a post where he is trying to sell just the piping https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...&highlight=STS.
The kit I got was for an SS silverado so Im sure I'll need to modify it a bit, but I got a great deal.
