If you order your STS new, you can get any size turbo you want. Even if you buy a used kit, you can buy a new turbo from STS.

Big motor, especially if you're going to turn it, needs a lot of exhaust flow. You'll either have to run a big turbine on a 76 (I run a 1.30 Q-trim hot side on my 393) or move on up to a 88/91 T06 frame.

750 rwhp is going to be running at the outer limit of a 76, so you may want to consider at least an 88. Downside, the 88 needs to make a decent amount of power to get past the surge line while the 76 is pretty happy to loaf along at low boost/low power. So, if you're thinking 750 is the most you'll want (ha ha) then the 76 will be happier living on the street.

I think you'd be very well suited to a D-1SC. A D-1SC should have no problem producing 650-700 RWHP along with being a very streetable bolt up kit. Going with the F-1R if i recall is going to require some modification where as a D-1SC should be a direct bolt up. In order to get there with a turbo you're going to want to run around an 88 or bigger which will require more stall as well as modification to most turbo kits on the market to bolt up.

I know Speed Engineering has some killer prices on the Procharger kits. PM them for details....it was CHEAP.

Exotic performance had an amazing price on the F1 kit. I'm going with a turbo. I just spoke to my engine builder and he changed the cr because i'm going turbo so there's no way i'm calling him back and changing my mind again.

speaking with livernois and precision turbo today on a conference call, we found a turbo that will bolt up to their kit and be streetable and make the power i want. it's a gt4578. i'll be able to use the entire livernois kit minus the downpipe which will have to be custom made. no big deal. the downside is, that turbo is $1000 more than the t76. damn it.

as far as fuelling, yes i know i need a new fuel system. I'm waiting for a quote from nasty performance. I was told i need a fuel cell type tank, sump, -8an lines, 75lb injectors, vic jr intake, nasty rails, nw90 tb, and whatever fuel pump to support all that. MY GOD.

i hope this isn't a mistake. this is a major investment.

You do need the 75lbs and an injector driver (the 75lbers are low z if they are the delphis -- and honestly you *want* the low zs and a peak and hold driver for that size). I don't think you need the tank, lines, intake,90, etc. You definitely need fuel pump(s)

With as much boost as you can crank with that turbo, the stock intake is probably plenty for a street driven truck.
