Hello everyone im new to the site and figured it would be a good place to get some good info.... Just bought my 6.0 w/ 4L80E transmission from a junk yard for 1200$(Pulled)! I thought that was a steal deal....I have a 1995 Chevy Pickup truck and im about to start the process of building the motor and would love some suggestions. Im goin to go 408 Stroker w/ a D1SC procharger when its all said and done... Questions: Current fuel system on truck is a 20 gallon fuel cell w/ a walboro 255 GPH or LPH pump w/ 6an line ran to the fuel rails and 6an line as a return..... will this support my new supercharged motor? Where is a reasonable place to buy the procharger kit? Looking to go FAST fuel injection... any objections? someone told me i needed a way bigger pump and 8an supply lines w/ a 10an return line is this tru? Thanks alot and check the truck out.... The fuel cell is on another vid mounted in back of truck will have to load later and put link in... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=earyNtTbPBU & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tC9gSDmlQlg this is my current 383 stroker motor w/ mass flo fuel injection that i will be selling... hope you enjoyed and thanks for looking & or responses!

Welcome, and nice truck! I think the Walbro 255 should be fine with some 60lb Deka's...No need to use the FAST efi setup as the factory pcm is just as good, if not better. You can also ditch the maf and get tuned speed density.
-You may be able to run a boost a pump/ or meth with the walbro if its not enough, but imo it will be fine with 60 lbers...Good luck!
-What did you run on that pass? Sounds good!!

A d1 will be on the small side for a 408. Take a look at this thread.

You will also need 2 walbro 255 lph pumps. One will not cut it. 60 lb injectors will be on the small side too. You may want to go bigger to start with instead of having to buy larger ones.

Thanks man! What size in injectors u recommend? That thread is basically telling me that a D1SC is gonna run outta power by the time i get past 7k rpms but on the brighter side, will more than likely give me more tourqe low end.... that 396 has had great reviews it looks like.... I thought the same thing on the fuel pumps and the guy building the motor said i need that areomotive 1000 gph or lph pump, whats fuel pressure need to maintain on a supercharged motor? I personally thought 2 of my fuel pumps would do it! what do i tell the guy building my motor! Haha

go to leathal performance in las vegas. they are competitive on prices but better yet their customer service is top notch. To some its worth paying a little extra for the service. Just my 2 cents.
