Good info there. I use a -6 feed on mine and -10 drain. Never had a problem with smoke.

I was curious about a -6an. Good to know.

I also seem to see 99% of people running 10 an lines. I'm not sure if i'll change mine to a 3/4. maybe eventually.

I really think my problem is the feed line.

it'll start smoking out the exhaust and you'll start seeing oil consumption if its not sized properly. 10 an is pretty standard.

I think the Diesel guy has a good point and if i were doing it over i might go that route, but i think there is enough setups that have proven 10 an works.

just so much info out there, just read about 10 threads from different forums about it and get 10 different answers

some say -3 straight is fine, others say if you use -4 to use a restrictor. -10 to -12 is most common for the return, so far i havent seen anyone else recommend anything bigger besides what you posted. Gonna have to check my feed line i know my fitting i want to say it has 2mm restrictor which is about .065 i think. I may just bump that up to .080-.090 which from what im reading should be plenty find to supply 30-50psi

You should *never* need a restrictor in the feed, except if you have a ball bearing turbo. If you have a smoking problem, its the drains fault.

I know ball bearing turbos generally require a restrictor. In the import game its very commonly used on both BB and journal due to 80-100psi oil pressure.

Im going to drill my fitting out, i know 2mm is not enough for it
