4.8 Turbo Build. Need a lil help with cam/turbo.

The flange should be okay, but why do you feel you need something other than the kit peices?

Because I know someone that was tuning an on3 kit and it built up to 13 pounds with like the 6 psi spring. Even removed spring.... Very reputable shop so I'm going to just upgrade. Going to upgrade turbo also but that's a little further down the road.

Just got off the phone with Geoff at EPS. Working out the fuel system and tuning items that will be needed to dial it in on tune day. Should have everything ordered this month and will just be waiting on the custom cam to come in!! Going faster than I had expected. Told myself to just order turbo kit and then I could slowly get everything else..... Well that didn't happen! Lol

It took 2 months for me to get my EPS ground cam. So hopefully he doesn't keep you waiting like me. I've heard stories of people ordering custom cams from comp directly and having it before the weekend.

Had my last one from him in 3 weeks and that's what he quoted for this one. I am gone 2 weeks at a time for work so it will be a couple months before everything is installed anyways. Hopefully it won't be a couple of months on the cam though! Want to put it in ASAP before the turbo is installed.

70 mm should be good for 700 at least. If I had to do it over I'd buy a pt7075 which is close to what you have (I have a s480).
Cam wise there are a bunch of off the shelf cams that are fine. Texas speed has a couple. Most seem like they are running some type of 210-220 @ .50, .580-.600 lift, 113-115. This should get you no overlap which will be good for your kit but open things up a bit.
I'm not a big fan of custom cams, but to each and his own.
For your fuel setup. I went with an external fpr on the stock rails. I have a single 340l, but I would put 2 255s or a single 400 on without worry. I have a thread in my sig if you're curious on how to do it.
