I found a pic of the 5" intercooler on Byrdman's truck.... I really like how it fits. Simply because I feel better not blocking most of the radiator during the summer heat in stop and go traffic.

^ I saw your thread last night as i searched deeper. I'm fairly confident that I'm going with Rick's race 5" kit. I believe it will be more than adequate for my power levels and the no hassle installations is a great influencing factor for me.

Ok, so now I have decided to run run 15" wheels so i can run larger than a 26"-28" radial. I need to buy everything to convert to obs front rotor system. Gunna stay with 6 lug. I will order 15" Bogart D10s streets eventually and run 295/65R15 ET Streets. Contemplated running 315/60R15. So I'm looking at $718.92 to get flexplate, gears, and everything needed to convert to obs. Plus the price of SS brake lines. Man this crap just keeps adding up. I never thought id have what i do in the truck and i still have a ways to go! Oh well. I want to do it right the first time. Once i fire it up the only thing i will ever have to change to go faster is the turbo/system. It's crazy the way i think... My truck could have been cammed and boosted a year ago but i refuse to boost it until i can take advantage of all of its potential. My main reasoning is because i do not tune or data log so its not like i can get it going with what i have and every time i upgrade something just hook up the PC and make the necessary tuning adjustments. So i want to get everything done the way it needs to be and then go get it tuned and be done.

Well, I listed my BNIB On3 70mm turbo kit & BNIB Deatschwerks 60lb injectors for sale in the classifieds. Once they sale that should put a huge dent in what i have left to buy! I might actually finish this project in 2016 lol. Goal is to run 10s at my first track outing with it. No going to be easy but thats my goal.

If using HP Tuners you need a matching file with the same OS number that has a 4L80e..

Then follow the instructions for swapping the transmission and transmission diag files over with the segment swapper.

Well i finally got the truck on the road this morning. The email tune wasnt right but its straight now. Also picked up an lq4 short block and 317 heads on the way home! Going to take them to the machine shop for a bath and forged rods/pistons.

What compression should i run? 9.5, 10, 10.5?? I've gotten a different response from everyone lol. 93/meth. Going to run the s475 t4 on full blast. Then save for a s476 w/race cover. Goal is mid-low 10s with s475 and high 9s with s476.
