Thanks yes it could be an exhaust issue, I've changed mufflers 3 times trying to get the noise level down. It currently sports a pair of 3" super turbos (3 chamber). But I think it has as much or more to do with the heat exchanger.... I seem to recall you had some heat related issues too a while back.

I've got cutouts on it, I won't mention the brand but they keep sticking shut. I took them off once and must not have removed enough metal to stop them from catching.

Which Heat Exchanger are you running? You need to have one of the full coverage unit at least with boost that high. I run dual heat exchangers and have all along with no IAT issues.

I want to find out what it is, and more than happy to help find it, whatever the results may be.

Is your IC pump pumping? I don't think my IATs went that high even when my IC pump was airlocked.

The 3 chamber super turbos are trash. They provided me with 4 psi of back pressure (measured) at only 450 rwhp. They have to be like sticking a potato in your exhaust on your rig. If you get a free flowing exhaust, boost will go down, belt slip will go down, and power will go up.

Gotta love the title of the thread I think you are experiencing the highest IAT's I have ever heard of. I would suggest looking for some issues with the intercooler system, I have seen the intercoolers get air in the system and not work at all.

That being said, I would not expect them to be much higher than 50 over ambient and they should come immediately down after a pull.

have you inspected the IAT sensor connection? Hell even Zippy would admit that is high for this set up.

What belt problems do you have? I bought an Innovators 8 rib setup from Joe and have about 600 miles on it. Bolted right up with no problems. My IAT's are really low but not running the boost you are. I'm running 11psi.

With that much potential power you need zero chamber mufflers. And I agree about the HE...the more real estate, the better.
