The pulleys he sells have all had the right backspacing. Pretty much a bolt on deal. The tensioner bracket came with my Magnacharger kit not the pulleys.

Hahaha! You know darn well that I adjust my wot a/f's with a fuel pressure regulator....How prehistoric is that? I needed to lower my fuel pressure to lean it out, but wait...I just got 57lb injectors today. Bring it on.

Sorry you had issues but thats quite a statement.

I am the owner of the SS Shootout site and Administrator of TBSSowners.com so I have a little history with LeftCoast32.

I guess you have to be somewhat of a salesman to stay in business but I can assure you Joe is more of an answer/solution guy than he is a salesman. He has a reputation with the TBSS crowd as being one of the top "answer guys" in the industry and everyone I know that has bought from him has been thrilled with his after the sales support as well as support without even getting the sale.

As I said, I am sorry you have had issues. But speaking personally and for dozens and dozens of my friends, Joe has plenty of answers.

not trying to pick a fight here but with the mods you have listed shouldn't you be in the 10 sec. range and whats up with your 60ft time ? just curious.

Makes a bunch of boost but it isn't that fast. I actually liked the 1900 better. So 20lbs with 15 degrees of timing should be fast right. Mid elevens on my GTech on the single run I used it for. I think that's slow for this setup.

Wish I would have kept the 1900 and just squeezed a 100 shot on it. Would have had a 10 second truck without all of the b.s. the 2300 has been. To get this setup into the 10's I feel like I'll need a 30% downhill grade.. I should be happy that I didn't loose another belt and/or pulley today I guess.

If anyone is interested I'm thinking of ditching the 2300 and going to a centri. All offers considered
Is this with the Gtech pro or the old style? The old Gtechs read way slower than the pro's. I ran 11.53@124mph on the street with my old style Gt and the next day went 10.65@127mph at the track. The only difference was from 7000' elv down to 5000'. Thats .2 tenths difference max on a turbocharged setup.

Also if your 2wd there is going to be a huge reduction in ET running on the track vs the street.

Ha Ha, too funny! 6700lb's = 3 tons +, 60 ft's are leaving off idle in 6700lbs, and your right it might just might hit 10's

thx!

just realized.....

1st. off I was just expressing my frustration fighting gremlins. I think most who have done a few projects can relate to my situation where you think you've got it whipped and something else pops up. In my first post I was not being serious about ditching the 2300. I own my mistakes, which really haven't been and aren't very serious in nature IMHO. Just more irritating delays really caused by me rushing through it. So I'll get the IAT thing figured out without Joe, who I'm sure is a great guy. I just don't think it was fair of him to post in this thread like he was some kind of answer guy when he wasn't.

I had called and talked with him a few times after incident #3 on my list on post #21. And after taking his advice and purchasing a full set of pulleys from him still had problems keeping the belt on. Joe didn't give me ANY bad advice but he didn't offer a solution that worked either. So his comment "You should have called when you were installing the 8 rib" was disingenuous at best. But you have much more experiance and history with him than I do. So it looks like this was just one of those rare and unusual instances where someone (me) wasn't "thrilled" with his support. It doesn't make him a bad guy or diminish his potential to continue to offer quality advice to his loyal followers.

Plus I'm running more boost with a larger pulley 2.9 vs my 3.2 I probably make more power too even with all my hot air

I don't know if its new or old style. I got it in a trade for some injectors from BigTex in 2004 or 2005...

My truck is a 4wd but didn't have a great launch on that run.

Love your truck too btw. great looking and very, very fast. Not everyone realizes what it takes to get into the 10's.
