2.8" pulley belt upgrades...
#11
the belt is fine, ive been driving fine the last few days, just the stop on the tensioner broke and I threw the belt off twice in one day so I decided its time to fix it.
When I tried a 4wd launch I cant remember if the belt came off before or after I let off, a lot of other **** was going on haha. the second time is when I let off after breaking them loose at speed.

Got my new tensioner installed today, took all of 5 minutes. Its pretty beefy compared to the stock one. Also installed the new belt and 100mm idlers. Just watching the tensioner at idle it bounces around much less often.
The tensioner is adjustable with where you put the pin, I have it set so there is very little more downward movement (but enough to seat the belt). Any experts think I should move it to the other one or as long as its not so tight as to not be able to be seated then its fine?

My Maggie came with a 3.4" pulley and the adjustable idler pulley style bracket. I swapped to a 3.0 pulley, adjusted the idler pulley, and kept the stock Radix belt. It's daily driven, summer and winter, and has been on the truck for almost 2.5 years. I do beat on the truck daily.
