Default Should I Go More?

Alright guys the "new" of my blower has worn off and i'm ready for more power. I am thinking of going with a 3.2 pulley for around 9lbs of boost? Any downfalls of this other that i will get worse gas milage and have to get a retune? My Birthday is coming up pretty soon so i am thinking about throwing some LT headers on and a new pulley and see where that takes me? Suggestions?

That's what I did. Smaller pulley and LT's. Made all the difference, horsepower-wise. The downside is that the blower is always spinning faster, therefore it will wear out sooner and probably make more heat.

That and the LT's are going to show you less boost, unless ya' go to the smaller pulley, but more HP! Boost=Restriction. Less boost & more HP is a good thing! Isn't it funny how 500 RWHP gets Boring?

LOL!

You need to have another " stock" vehicle to drive so you always get that " power" feeling when you drive your blown ride!

That helps a lil !!!!

Do you think 3" is safe? I want something reliable but yet stupid fast. I was going to go with a 3.2 for 9lbs 3" would be around 11lbs. I know this is a age old question but how much till i start breaking stuff? My buddy and i just built a 5.3 96 s10 and he has me by a tad and want to fix that lol.

My girlfriend drives a 02 civic. Its slower than crap but its free gas cause her dad owns a transmission shop and writes off the company gas cards on taxes. Its nice every once in a while to relax but its always fun to get back into my truck and put my foot in it.

I ran a 3" on my 5.3 until I swapped in my new engine without any problems, but thats the smallest I would recommended without going to an 8 rib setup.
