Got my 2 big boxes from Rick today. I know it's ridiculous but I don't even have time to unpack them yet. Very excited! Maybe in less than a couple months stage 1 build could be complete and driving long as the weather cools off.

LT4 injectors are in. $560. Got a 6.2 block LT1 crank and Manley pistons coming next week for a killer deal imo. Need some good aftermarket rods decide on a cam (no idea open to suggestions) and then have it professionally built. Gonna install the twins on the 5.3 with injectors and E85. Get it running and drive it till I get the 6.2 built. May as well go big so probably shooting for 9's eventually I guess. With the price of a new truck nowadays I don't even feel remotely bad. Who knows where it ends you all know how it is lol. I dont know how to make this thread to jump to the last post because it doesn't have the little down arrow on the left. Anybody know?

I would buy the callies rods. Maybe not quiet the pro billets for a stock crank build tho, those get $$$$$$$$

I'm looking forward to seeing this thing!

in an effort to give you a break, I‘ll take that 6.2 off your hands and lighten the burden you are facing!

Thanks guys so kind! I may have found a local shop to build the sb. Talking to the owner in the am. The guy on the phone said no we only do race engines. Told him I'm planning on 1000 or more at the crank with twins. He said oh ok I guess that qualifies

i was hoping you wouldn't mind me giving that stuff a go on my truck being its a few months before you can mess with yours. lol

I would definitely use an engine builder that's more in tune to doing race stuff, I'm pretty picky on who I would use an engine build.

Sorry been waiting on the machine shop to give details on the 6.2 block and parts. I'm getting back around to this though but I have a question in case I stay 5.3 for a while.

How hard is it to drop my pan to do the oil return on the turbos? 4wd.
