I think I'm ok with just a single tho. I can do everything I want to do with a 76 or maybe a t4 80mm.

has anybody done an 4l80 in these trucks yet? I havent looked recently but the last time I did nobody had figured out how to make it work and keep any of the creature comforts of the truck.

Why would you do a 4L80? The 6 and 8 speeds can handle this stuff just fine now from what I have seen.

I think Goatrope had a whole video on his page with a swap to a 4l80. Or it could have been the 4 speed. He basically loaded a camaro manuel trans tune.

Only thing is if I go bigger than 377 Rick says I'd want bigger turbo's iirc. These are 67/65's. Sure would like the low end though without a dogg *** loose converter...never ending story!

Have to agree and you've already got a cam. I originally got the bug again after Rick posted about low mounts. 4wd wasn't low mount friendly though so I just jumped to the twins. It's his fault

GM torque figures show that they do although in my other thread that was up for discussion from some knowledgeable friends here there were qualifications I guess.
My tranny guy (lol) said he's got 6L's good for 13-1400 running around but more than likely they are Camaro's and Vettes so figuring it backwards 6L should be good for 1k built. Much less with stock clutches after Lmm's experience. HOWEVER I am stupid sometimes I may in one of those moments decide to max out the fuel system and still add meth. What can I say...I'm an addict.
