Here's a video of a friends GTO. This is from when it had the LS2 in it at 10.9:1 compression. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/D...gto_141680.htmLink He ran that for quite a while until the bolts came loose from the cam gear. He now runs an LQ9 with a stock longblock except Patriot Gold valve springs and an LS6 cam. It now puts down around 850RWHP with 10.0:1 compression and a turbo upgrade.
. Is that on 91 octain with just water meth?

There was a guy on here with a 4.8L with forged pistons. I believe it was 8ALTNG. That GTO did those numbers on race fuel and meth. It was holding together fine until the cam bolts backed out. The car has went 11's at 134. It has a slight traction problem. They will be back out with it this fall shooting for 140+mph trap speeds.

In my camaro im running a stock bottom end 2002 ls1. Has 243 heads on it. pushing 5 pounds on it. makeing 574 to the wheel. I dont know the compression exactly cause i never sat down to figure it out but it should be over 10:1

This kind of thing certainly is attention getting from me though. Lately on here it seems some are just trying to see how much boost they can make. I have more interest in seeing how much power can be made with 6-10psi of boost (streetable numbers to me).
