Default 11.0:1 compression and boost???

not planning anything! just kicking chit around in my head

the forums are slow and im just curious. how would a 11.0:1 compression motor handle 5-7 lbs of boost??? i figure trick kits aughta be hitting the used classifieds soon...not that i have the money for a kit

Turbo seems to like less CR than a Posi blower from what I've read, there was just some commentay about this in another thread.

LOL! I've been kicking around the idea with my 11.5:1

Thinking of a small turbo that will spool instantly. But like you said, just kicking around the idea.

I know of many boosted LS2's and they are 10.9:1, you should be fine with the correct camshaft and tuning.

im afraid of getting too much down low to hook. hopefully ill be making 1.65ish 60' times on motor with my new converter coming in. turbo lag seems benificial to me sometimes.

That is just it, the tuning needs to be spot on
But better fuel mileage, more usable power, better street maners.
I'll see how far my 10.1 boosted engine works and report back, although 10.1 is't too high, it is for high hp boosted engines....

I asume this of course would be with Forged P&R's to run that high of a CR??? Along with decent Head Studs & valve springs...
