I am having problems with the truck that I built a turbo kit for. It goes into reduce engine power often and most commonly when the truck is on the expressway. I scanned the truck aftwerward to get the cause of the issue and it has codes PO606, PO601, and PO604. I believe all those codes are related to the computer being swapped because the stock pcm was tuner locked. I have heard that the truck throttle body is not strong enough under boost and needs to be switched to the vette throttle body. Any input?

 

I had the same issue. 09+ truck throttle body helped and I eventually went with an ls3 tb and have not had the issue since.

 

Any programming fixes for the problem?

2 tuners and help from the HPTuners board.. no tuning fixes at all. The motor in the tb is simply to weak

 

Cool, is the ls3 throttle body a plug and play? Is the truck you had this issue on forced induction?

 

Thats odd...I don't have that problem at all with the stock TB.

 

It is hit and miss. I had been using that tb for about 2 years and then one day it started happening.
