Well we put the cam in the s ilverado this past weekend and think it did really good. 00' silverado with lt headers, 3" ehaust no cats to dump thrush muffler. LS3 cam Vengeance racing stage 2, 227/239 614/624 on a 115. Tuned with HP ourselfs. Made 351hp and 330ft. Pretty happy stock stall also injectors maxed out so time for some bigger ones.

Splits and lifts like that remind me of the Comp LSr line.

 

Stock head, bottom end 5.3 with cam, lt headers,3" exhaust no cats dumped at axle, home made cold air, ported ls6 oil pump, ls2 chain, stock trans and converter, Hp tuners. Power doesnt really come in till about 3600 and were spining it to 7k

 

why such a big cam ?
TR220 has been know to make 340hp

 

cuz it was free. lol

I did a 234/228 in my turbo 5.3 for the same reason, the cam was free

 

Stock torque converter will show higher numbers than a higher stalled torque converter...
