I'm getting my truck dynoed somewhere in orlando where my friend got his camaro done at. what should i expect with my current mods and then after a dyno tune?
2005 5.3 2wd-aem intake,ps lts and ory no cats, single in dual out 50 series,w4m tune. is this around 280? and what would it be after a dyno tune?

as far as FI goes, a maggie is awesome, and a front mount turbo is almost unbeatable.
turbo's atually can increase gas mileage if you stay out of boost, and are very efficient. a single front mount at 6 psi should get close to your goal of 400 ish rwhp on that 5.3

Faster spool and supposed to have more hp potential, be more efficient and no oil return pump to deal with. Alot of people that have started with "butt turbo's" eventually go to front anyway...although I just saw a stock looking C5 vette on corvetteforum that goes 8.5's with a rear mount; I guess that'll pass.
There are still some of us rear mount diehards, but a front mount has more potential.

I had to stay around town because a big job came up and ive been working everyday for 10 hrs a day.. anyways im gonna try to go up there this weekend. so around 290whp? and stock these 05s come with 250ish? i checked out some places to get a turbo. I looked at this place called trick performance and its gonna be around 7k grand for a bottom mount w/ intercooler and installation. I'm kinda nervous bc ive heard these trannys are really weak and so are the rear ends. im gonna check out sts again i forgot there prices.. also, does anyone know how much it costs to install a s/c?

the trik performance turbo is a good turbo and ya the tranny and the rear end are usually weak..but yet there are some ppl that have a **** load of HP and the tranny is fine and some ppl add some minor bolt ons and the tranny ***** up..so i guess its the luck of the draw.

I would say around 300 or just shy of it. Your probably going to have to upgrade your tranny after the FI. I would go with Trick imo, install isn't to difficult to do yourself, and that would definently bring the cost down and save you extra money for that tranny. KBRacing is also selling hot parts for front mount kits, along with several other sponsors.
