Went from a 3.33 pulley at 7#s to a 3.125 so now 9 maybe 10lbs.

well i had a 04 4.8 and just with full boltons and no cam and my truck was runing like yours i parked it in till i can see what was wrong with it, bought a diablo programmer so i can fix the fuel and it made it driveable but never was right, changed the fuel pump and made it run a lotbetter
but never got to take it back to the dyno sold it a week later but i think it was the fuel pump for sure

So truck died on me the day I got it back. It was right after I got gas so Im thinkin, bad gas, bad pump, or bad installation. Turns out to be the relay. Shoud have checked that first.

This tuner ran your truck 3 times and it was that lean each time?Where in Houston did you go to to get your truck tuned?I'll be sure and not take my truck there..IMO he should have stopped during the 1st pull and not charged you full price for a tune and told you to get the fuel problem solved before he blows your truck up.I know a couple good tuners here on the northside of Houston you can take your truck to.Shoot me a pm if interested.I don't know alot about tuning and I have been messing around with HP Tuners for over a year and I still have know idea on a lot of it.I guess thats why we rely on these tuners so much to tune our trucks.

I got it tuned by Owen at ARD. He does a lot of tuning for HPE as well. I know he ran it extremely lean but I still have faith. It ran lean before so I threw on bigger injecteors and tried again. Maybe he did something in the tune to make it safer? Or maybe I just got lucky. I like the way my truck runs now and Ill probably take it back once I get my new drivetrain considering its free for life....and I want a 6.0 so it wouldnt be the worst thing for the 4.8 to go bye bye. Where at on the northside? Probably a lot closer for me then goin to ARD

Honestly, there's nothing safe about running a 14+ at WOT in a FI application. I would have someone look at the tune other than ARD, get a second opinion just like you would about surgery etc. With your mods, you shouldn't be maxing out the pump, unless the pump is bad just like what everyone else has said. You can pick up a fuel pressure tester at AutoZone for like 50 bux if you want to check it yourself. It's insanely simple to do. Another thing is the dyno graph looked pretty wavey (sp), but that's most likely due to you running crazy lean. I'd be interested to see what kind of timing he has you running, probably stock.
