Default My truck is a PIG

Stock dyno run today. 254rwhp/303tq.(locked converter) Completely stock 5.3 replacement GM crate engine with about 8,000 miles. Now I know why this thing is so slow. That was pull 2 because the first stopped at 98 mph, had to get rid of the speed limiter. Now on to find out what parts do what. I have electric fans sitting in the corner, guess that is where I will start.

I think that there is a decent amount of hp left in this thing, judging by the high tq reading, there are some higher rpm gains to be made when I get this to breathe.

Not bad numbers. If you have the fans, might as well throw them on.
That's what I'll be doing today...

If this is an Avalanche I wouldn't be doing 3rd gear pulls. The stock driveshaft on the utilities is a timebomb at those speeds.

I thought that I had heard that the driveshaft was weak, but didn't think anything of it. Now, I think that I should look into one, because this thing wont be a pig much longer. Getting ready to add the BOOST.
