I will wring every last drop out of this 4L60...lol. I have a local rebuild guy doing trannys for 35 years. He builds Tony-Hardcore's gto running 9's and jerking wheels off the ground and the 4L60 hangs in there. He gives me 3 day turnaround time. Hard to beat that.

My issues have always been tuning. I switched to a lighter TC so I had to start all over.

Just back from track..tranny still won't shift.

I noticed something odd while scanning when I was warming up. When I put trans in gear (1, 2 and drive), it shifts and knows what gear it is in on the dash but in HPT (when shifting manual), it says 2nd gear when in first and says 1st gear when I shift to second. WTF ? This **** is driving me crazy

Does the scanner show the correct gear when in full automatic mode (D or 3)? The dash display is getting it's information from the position sensor on the side of the trans. The scanner is getting it's information from the internal circuitry of the trans. Just wondering if a wire got crossed on the internal wiring when it got refreshed.

Good point.
The dash matches the tranny perfect. The scanner is backwards.
