Default Trans is confused

Went back out to the track Sunday and still have the same issues. The trans doesn't seem to know what gear it is in. I guess I need to replace the switch on the side of the tranny and maybe the harness itself.

It drives fine on the street but has WOT shifting issues. It is not taking commands from HPT.

The only good news is the motor is screaming and my TC didn't break the bolts.

Running a built 4L60e. I have had it several years and it was just refreshed.
It did this before but it was the upshift\downshift tables too close together.

I am puzzled this time

Or post up here your choice, not saying I have the answer for sure but without seeing it.... No clue. If email, it's in my profile.

Sounds like the 60 is trying to tell you it is tiered. 80e time.

I've pushed a couple 60e's with quite a bit of power and never had a non shift issue. Built right and tuned right they will do ok depending the setup. There are some variables to making them live.

Don't get me wrong, I prefer an 80e 8 days of the week.
