Default Slow h/c 2500hd

05 2500hd, 212/218 cam, stock 243 heads, 8.1 injectors, e fans, stock everything else (including manifolds).

35's and 4.10s put it going through the traps in 2nd gear.

Stock engine same everything else I was running 16.7s on a warmer day so it was a pretty decent gain. However running 15.4s and watching stock turbo diesels clip off low 12s was pretty lame.

There is no stock turbo diesel that will run 12s.

Maybe you misunderstood my post, because there are plenty of 12 second duramaxs still running the stock turbo, even stock injectors and cp3.

I don't disagree with that statement so yes I guess I misunderstood your wording. 1,000 ft. Lbs of torque sure helps get those trucks moving and even on a duramax, you want the lightest wheels possible. Find some pyo's. They are really light. My Dmax went 13.1 on the stock trans.

Great time and mph for almost stock. I'd be proud of that!

I went 14.99 on 33s before all my mods..had traction issues at the light as well..your tires are holding you back big time..some longtubes and a re-tune should make a very noticeable difference..at least they did on my vmax..

Next time you run, try to step down to a smaller tire like a 265, 285 of some sort..should be worth a few tenths
