What was your race weight? Your spinning might be pinion angle related. What angle did you wind up with? I thinkg a little preload on those long bars will go a long way.
his race weight is around 3900 i believe.

im curious what your 1/8 time was too

Ill have to look at the slip when I get home but I believe it was an 8.0 or maybe even in the 7s

I didn't do much weight reduction, just the backseat and tail gate, I didn't even think to put it on the scales.

Here's the full slip.

60'----- 2.100
330'-----5.382
1/8------8.012
Mph------91.89
1000'----10.186
1/4------12.511
Mph------110.87

When its back together, a LOT more emphasis will be placed on getting the truck to 60' better. This was its first real run on 28" GOOD slicks too, I'm sure I'm a lot of the error too. I need just as much practice as the truck does.

You were not kidding that 60 sucks...but started to move nicely almost 92 at the 1/8th would had you right there @ 11s. Was that 6psi pass?

Yep, just 6psi and pump gas, no meth, no nitrous.... If I had mixed the 110 in there maybe she would have lived going lean....

Like I said, the emphasis will be on the 60' this time back together. The power will be there (and then some) to run DEEP into the 11s and maybe faster. I have no doubt it would have gone 11s that pass or the next. The 60' just kicked the e/t in the ***.

I'm almost tempted to throw a running 5.3 in it just to see how fast I can go with it I doubt ill ever find one thatll hold up under the punishment this one took. this motor will be missed.

I don't think I got near enough heat in the slicks either.
Don't forget how cold it was.. The track was probably cold especially if you were one of the first to run that day!
