I am going to a car show this weekend (Cruisin' The Coast on Mississippi Coast). A buddy of mine is ridding with a friend of his in a 2002 Saleen S281 stang. He told me its a stock 4.6, some 66mm Chicane pulley(8 or 9lbs), intake and tune. Ive never seen the car but he wants to run me.

Anyone have any experience with mustangs to know an estimated ET in the 1/4 and what kind of power he is putting down?

 

No clue about Saleens but as the saying goes you can't make chicken soup out of chicken ****. What times do you run. I can't imagine it runs better then low 13s maybe high 12s on a good cold day in hell.

 

I looked it up on dragtimes and 12.4 and 12.6. Neither showed modifications and one said 6 psi. So if they are were stock and he what he claims to be it might be a 12 flat car.
