I used to lock mine at 105 mph with the old iron 5.7 d1sc combo. It was a 3 disk pi vigilante that was worked over by chris at circle d. Was using a level 4 4l80e from flt and never had any issues.

If you're pushing the turbo beyond what it's good for you're just pushing hot air anyway. Why not back down the boost a tad. Keep it at 15 even in Colder temps.

My boost controller is at 0. This is just spring pressure in the WG. But I only have 2 springs for the gate. This heavy spring, and a lighter spring that gives 8 psi.

I used both springs on my truck and it makes 12lb with my boost controller at 0

See most recent time slip in sig. I firmly believe I was headed for a high 9 sec pass before my driveshaft/center u joint exploded.
