Went to a different track and they have a king of the street thing at the end of the night...only rules being it has to have dot tires. I thought someone said the car had to be driven in, but I guess not... I drove mine about an hour and half to get there, and the same back home, while his was brought it on a trailer and I dont think made any previous passes. His car was clearly faster, no doubt, but I dont think throwing a set of drag radials on your race car qualifies it as a true street car. Whatever though, I didnt loose any money, but it was fun. Posted up a 107mph trap speed that night.

 

looked like you would have taken him in the topend. He's probably geared really low.

 

Not even a race, he let off about the 330 mark and just coasted through the traps, peddling just enough to stay ahead of me. He won by 0.2 and I trapped almost 20mph faster...

Pretty chicken ****, you ought to enter some of those where you ahve to go on a 40 mile cruise and pull straight into the staging lines. Thats one of the biggest reasons I love the Hot Rod power tour, theyre all true street cars.

 

That was a nasty car. Definatly the reason the money races for "true street" require a drive like others have talked about.
